The cosmopolitan resort of Fuengirola is just 20 minutes from Malaga airport and easily accessible from the neighbouring resorts of Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Marbella and Puerto Banus. With its seven kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches, stretching from Sohail Castle to Carvejal, it provides the perfect setting for a variety of watersports and water activities. During the long summer season, the beaches provide you with a variety of water fun such as jet skiing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubes and banana rides. Hire a pedalo, kayak or RIB (rigid inflatable boat) for an hour or two, soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful coastline and distant mountains. Fuengirola Marina, not far from the town centre is home to yet more water activities, boat trips and charter boats. The Beast Xtreme power boat, a water rollercoaster, parasailing wth Smile High, sea fishing trips aboard Frana, dophin spotting from the Alborán Explorer and boats to charter privately. Many of these operations work throughout the year. Fuengirola and the surrounding area also offers many more activities.
